Other than the frequent forays into social media (which can be a distraction from writing, I admit) I am still scrawling the book of short stories, “Codex Corvidae.” Estimated word count so far is 40,000. I was hoping to have it ready for Halloween, but life has been complicated recently. I aim to have it finished by Christmas.
Issue Eleven of Once Upon A Crocodile will be out on November 1st 2022. This time I have been experimenting with using AI to produce the illustrations (that’s one of my current obsessions!)
As for the poetry collection I entered into Black Spring Press’s Bottom Drawer Competition, it made the shortlist but sadly didn’t make it further than that. On doing further research, I decided not to try getting it published with them. I shall try other places later, when I have a bit less going on.
