August Update

Still grinding away on social media promoting “A Dark Heritage: The Nighthunter” by reading out excerpts and doing short “character spotlights” using the Face Dance app, as well as spreading it around through word-of-mouth and flyers. What else do you do to promote your work if you have a disabling health condition and you’re a newbie author? Suggestions in comments from writers are welcome (Warning: I will ignore spam from people trying to sell me promotional services. I am broke and there’s something in my contract about not hiring third parties. Soz.)

A little excerpt “read” by Fletch

The Book of Nighthunting online project is now completed. It was fun doing digital collages for it and coming up with the text for the different types of Ghosts, but I am itching to get back into more drawing (more character and fictional-setting spotlights, maps and stuff). Not to mention I have a book of short stories to finish tweaking (which will be free to anyone who buys A Dark Heritage… and leaves [an honest!] review for it. I will also put up a video of myself reading and reacting to your review [though I’m not the most photogenic of specimens…])

(Though Amazon is having a problem with allowing people to redeem prepaid book codes even if they are in the same country as the author, which sucks the proverbial undercarriage. But I will find a way of getting the collection to you if the download code doesn’t work. Seriously Amazon, get your act together.)

THE LLEWMAYN: a gargantuan, sentient jellyfish-spectre with telepathic and telekinetic powers. It forces its victims to dream and replay old memories, using the emotions from that as a way to eat minds.
Be ever vigilant.

This month’s free gift to email list subscribers will be a postcard from The Nighthunter, Logan Bartholom, delivered to your inbox!
