The latest issue of OUAC (Once Upon A Crocodile) ezine, which I run and edit, is coming out VERY SOON — May the 30th, to be precise. It will feature old favourites such as Lynn White and rp Verlaine, as well as some new faces: Sara Corris, DJ Tyrer, LN Hunter, Daniel Tarker, and Matt Cantor. I look forward to putting out issue 10 very much, because:
1) The ezine has finally reached double figures! It’s a pre-teen. Pretty soon it’s going to start having mood swings and demanding a mobile phone (can crocodiles use mobile phones? Erm…)
2) There were so many submissions this time around that issue 10 will be a double issue! The first half will arrive at the end of May and the second half will arrive in the first two weeks of June.
Visit the ezine here and view the archives here.
“A Dark Heritage,” the first Nighthunter book, will be published in the near future. I won’t say too much about it as it’s still early days, but I just signed a publishing contract for it last week.
The next free item going out to email subscribers’ inboxes is going to be a phrasebook of English — Ancient Ossyan (or the “Old Tongue” in the novel) which is the almost extinct language the characters use to cast magical workings, and which the talking animals of Thosea still use and understand.
